You don’t find happiness, fulfillment, and meaning by prioritizing yourself above all. The pathway to true and lasting blessedness doesn’t come through getting our desires but through giving ourselves. We don’t discover joy by prioritizing ourselves but by completely giving ourselves back to the One who made us. Pursue your own happiness above all, and you’ll find yourself miserably enslaved.”

Beware of Relational Heresy While Addressing Perceived Doctrinal Heresy

Bob Kellemen expresses the importance of ensuring we don’t fall into relational heresy while we attempt to address what we perceive to be doctrinal heresy. “Our failure to address this runs counter to God’s all-sufficient Word. The Bible is replete with commands about how we treat one another while we address doctrinal disagreements.

A La Carte: The Virgin Mary and modern therapeutic culture / Relational heresy and doctrinal heresy / The darkness does not win / How does God deliver from pain by pain? / Christmas with your adult children / and more.See AlsoA La Carte (May 21)A La Carte (March 19)A La Carte (August 14)

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[31
306
post-114495","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-tim-challies","tag-a-la-carte","et-has-post-format-content","et_post_format-et-post-format-standard
https://i0.wp.com/biblicalcounselor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/cover-a-la-carte-tue-a-3-1.jpg?fit=1920%2C1219&ssl=1
["GET
