I Launch My Bark on the Unknown Waters of This Year<\/strong> <\/p>\n

\u201cO Lord,<\/p>\n

I launch my bark on the unknown waters of this year:<\/p>\n

With Thee, O Father as my harbour,<\/p>\n

Thee, O Son, at my helm,<\/p>\n

Thee O Holy Spirit, filling my sails.<\/p>\n

Guide me to heaven:<\/p>\n

With my loins girt,<\/p>\n

My lamp burning,<\/p>\n

My ear open to Thy calls,<\/p>\n

My heart full of love,<\/p>\n

My soul free.<\/p>\n

Give me:<\/p>\n

Thy grace to sanctify me,<\/p>\n

Thy comforts to cheer,<\/p>\n

Thy wisdom to teach,<\/p>\n

Thy right hand to guide,<\/p>\n

Thy counsel to instruct,<\/p>\n

Thy law to judge,<\/p>\n

Thy presence to stabilize.<\/p>\n

May:<\/p>\n

Thy fear be my awe,<\/p>\n

Thy triumphs my joy.<\/p>\n

Length of days does not profit me except the days are passed:<\/p>\n

In Thy presence,<\/p>\n

In Thy service,<\/p>\n

To Thy glory.<\/p>\n

Give me a grace that:<\/p>\n

Precedes,<\/p>\n

Follows,<\/p>\n

Guides,<\/p>\n

Sustains,<\/p>\n

Sanctifies,<\/p>\n

Aids every hour.<\/p>\n

That I may not be one moment apart from Thee, but may rely on Thy Spirit:<\/p>\n

To supply every thought,<\/p>\n

Speak in every word,<\/p>\n
