Now <em>That <\/em>Is Really Integration!!!<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>I love Star Trek. I love biblical counseling. I love getting to integrate them together in the title of today\u2019s guest post!<\/p>\n<p>In Star Trek lore, the <em>Kobayashi Maru <\/em>is a training exercise designed to place cadets in a no-win scenario. No matter what they do, they cannot possibly complete their mission safely.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>The No-Win Scenario<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>First introduced in the 1982 film, <em>Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan<\/em>, the phrase <em>Kobayashi Maru<\/em> has entered the popular lexicon as a reference to a no-win scenario.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m using <em>Kobayashi Maru <\/em>as a reference to a no-win scenario in some of our current biblical counseling conversations. The target is constantly moved; the rules of engagement are repeatedly changed; no matter what you do or say; you are wrong.
