While many celebrate October 31 as Halloween, Protestants around the world celebrate October 31 as Reformation Day\u2014the day Martin Luther launched the Reformation. This is his story\u2026and our story\u2014the story of the joy of salvation in Christ alone.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <strong>The Sufficiency of Scripture<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Confident in the sufficiency of the Scriptures, Luther brought the questions that troubled his soul to them, expecting answers. God\u2019s Word was Luther\u2019s daily bread:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cNo other study pleased me like that of the Holy Scripture. I read in it diligently and imprinted it upon my memory. Often a single passage of weighty import occupied my thoughts the whole day\u2026.
