The abuses and excesses being detailed in expos\u00e9s like &#8216;Jesus And John Wayne&#8217; and &#8216;The Rise And Fall Of Mars Hill&#8217; have launched a (predictable) overreaction among some, leaving many confused as to what the Bible does, in fact, say about proper, kind, and loving sexual conduct within marriage.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccef.org\/god-scares-me-to-death\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">God Scares Me to Death<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;God is sovereign. He does as he pleases. This comforts some people\u2014and terrifies others.&#8221; I understand this fear very well.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?feature=share&amp;utm_source=pocket_mylist&amp;v=6Tzz4c8dN5E\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">Is \u201cBeloved\u201d Still a Word?
