(<a href=\"https:\/\/aaronnew.weebly.com\/\">You can learn more about Dr. New here<\/a>.) Dr. New is a self-described non-biblical counselor who has at times been critical of biblical counseling. So, before I read his private message, I took a deep breath and wondered what he might have to say to me.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>A Non-BCer Ponders <em>Consider Your Counsel<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>I quickly realized that Aaron was talking about my latest book, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/rpmministries.org\/bookstore\/consider-your-counsel-addressing-ten-mistakes-in-our-biblical-counseling\/\">Consider Your Counsel: Addressing 10 Mistakes in Our Biblical Counseling<\/a><\/em>. Then, I thought, \u201cOh boy, what is Aaron going to think\/say about a BC book\u2026?\u201d Here\u2019s Aaron\u2019s Twitter PM to me\u2014shared with Aaron\u2019s permission:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBob! I got your book today and sat with it until I finished it in one sitting. It was very good! I suspect we may still have some differences of opinions on the sufficiency issue (though your definition on pg 79 may be nuanced enough to bring us pretty close.)&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>BUT, I so appreciated this book.
