But unfortunately, it likewise exposes an endemic issue among disqualified pastors. They were taken down by a proud, authoritarian spirit that couldn\u2019t follow.<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:120,&quot;335559739&quot;:120}\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Such pride threatens every <span aria-label=\"Rich text content control\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">p<span data-contrast=\"none\">astor\u2019s heart\u2014the arrogant refusal to acknowledge God\u2019s goodness to limit his competency and authority. No <span aria-label=\"Rich text content control\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">p<span data-contrast=\"none\">astor is omnicompetent. Nor is his authority absolute.
