The book focuses on helping parents and counselors to understand and empathize with a child\u2019s grieving heart. It then seeks to equip parents and counselors to help children and teens to find God\u2019s healing hope in the midst of life\u2019s painful losses.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Why This Frequent Theme?<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Finding hope in loss has been a frequent theme of my counseling, speaking, and writing ministry.<\/p>\n<p>One of my first books\u2014and my best-selling book\u2014is <a href=\"https:\/\/rpmministries.org\/bookstore\/gods-healing-for-lifes-losses-how-to-find-hope-when-youre-hurting\/\"><em>God\u2019s Healing for Life\u2019s Losses: How to Find Hope When You\u2019re Hurtin<\/em><em>g<\/em><\/a>. Written especially for and directly to the grieving person, in this short book with brief chapters, I contrast the world\u2019s way of addressing grief with the Word\u2019s pathway for our grief journey.<\/p>\n<p>Then more recently I wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/rpmministries.org\/bookstore\/grief-walking-with-jesus\/\"><em>Grief: Walking with Jesus<\/em><\/a>.
