There are many words in the Old Testament and New Testament that relate to one-another ministry, biblical counseling, soul care, pastoral care, shepherding, spiritual friendship, and being a soul physician. In this series on Biblical Counseling Word Studies<\/em>, I\u2019m posting about:<\/p>\n

A couple of months ago I asked the question, Is \u201cBiblical Counseling\u201d<\/em> the Best Term for Church-Based Soul Care?<\/a> After sharing my thoughts, including over a dozen potential optional terms for church-based soul care, I concluded by acknowledging that there is no one right term<\/em>. I still agree with that conclusion.<\/p>\n
