November has gotten off to quite the start!<\/p>\n<p><em>(Yesterday on the blog: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.challies.com\/resources\/new-and-notable-books-for-november-2\/\" rel=\"bookmark\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">New and Notable Books for November<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/equip.sbts.edu\/article\/six-reasons-romans-7-written-perspective-post-conversion-christian\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">Romans 7 and a Post-Conversion Perspective<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>I guess this debate won&rsquo;t end until Christ&rsquo;s return, but for now I tend to lean toward this perspective. &ldquo;I do not want to enter into the intricacies of the debate in this post. Rather, I only want to offer my defense of a post-conversion reading. That is, I believe Paul is describing his Christian experience in Romans 7:14-25. Here&rsquo;s why&hellip;&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.9marks.org\/article\/the-great-commission-is-guaranteed-so-lets-get-to-work\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">The Great Commission Is Guaranteed, So Let&rsquo;s Get to Work<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Before giving his disciples the Great Commission, Jesus made a promise to build his church. He guaranteed that not even the gates of hell can stop its advance (Matt. 16:18). As a church planter, I continually come back to this great guarantee. Church planting is difficult and costly. It often feels like we&rsquo;re in a battle with the forces of hell itself. But knowing that Jesus&rsquo; plan to redeem the world is accomplished through the planting of more local churches gives me great comfort and confidence.
