You can read that post here: <a href=\"https:\/\/rpmministries.org\/2023\/11\/psalm-88-the-dark-night-of-the-soul-if-heman-saw-a-miserable-counselor\/\"><em>Psalm 88: \u201cThe Dark Night of the Soul.\u201d If Heman Saw a Miserable Counselor<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Imagine If\u2026<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>While there is much we can learn from bad examples about what <em>not<\/em> to do and say, and how <em>not <\/em>to counsel, there\u2019s also much we can learn from good examples. So, in today\u2019s post, I\u2019m asking you to <em>imagine with me<\/em> <em>if Heman in <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=psalm%2088&amp;version=NIV\"><em>Psalm 88<\/em><\/a><em> were to share his soul with a biblical soul physician, with a compassionate soul care giver<\/em>. What might it be like for a human counselor to offer Heman a taste of the Father\u2019s divine counsel\u2014our Father of compassion and God of all comfort (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=2%20Corinthians%201%3A3-4&amp;version=NIV\">2 Corinthians 1:3-4<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Of course, there is <em>no one-size-fits-all<\/em> approach to caring for a hurting person like Heman.
