The Circle of Responsibility Diagram

When a counselee feels confused about a problem, consider using Paul Tripp’s Circle of Responsibility diagram. It will help the visual learner assess the issue and offer steps to take. For many years I have used the Circle of Responsibility diagram in counseling. I carry copies with me when I change locations between my home and office. I have even been known to draw the circles of responsibility on a napkin!
