At times, you may get involved in a conversation about a substantial topic with a friend or relative, which prompts you to share a verse from the Bible. Speaking about Scripture comes naturally to you, so you eagerly read a passage that applies to their situation. You quickly discover that they don’t believe in either God or the Bible. This person may be asking for common-sense advice or just need a listening ear. She isn’t interested in her relationship with the Lord or the ultimate goal of glorifying God.
