Book Review of Chronic Illness, Walking by Faith by Esther Smith

An illness is considered chronic when the symptoms are persistent and long-lasting in their effects. The symptoms usually affect various areas of the body and are often not responsive to treatment. The results of chronic illness are life-impacting and yet are often completely invisible. Instead, a person with chronic illness will be most recognized by the limitations and alterations the illness imposes on their lives. I do not live with chronic illness. So why read a book on chronic illness or recommend one on the subject? The reasons can be summed up in two words: friendship and faithfulness.
