At times, you may get involved in a conversation about a substantial topic with a friend or relative, which prompts you to share a verse from the Bible. Speaking about Scripture comes naturally to you, so you eagerly read a passage that applies to their situation. You quickly discover that they don’t believe in either God or the Bible. This person may be asking for common-sense advice or just need a listening ear. She isn’t interested in her relationship with the Lord or the ultimate goal of glorifying God. You begin to realize that the two of you have different goals. She wants a happier, more fulfilled life. You want to equip women to serve the Lord. Can progress be made with these differing goals? Counseling During COVID-19: When We Can’t Meet Face-to-Face

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, many counselors have discontinued in-person counseling in favor of remote methods. Thankfully, communication technology has exploded in the past few years. Some will counsel by phone, others by a means which allows “face-to-face” communication such as FaceTime, Zoom, or Skype.
