This episode highlights the Bluegrass Biblical Counseling Coalition, which started in Lexington, KY in 2018 and just had its first meeting of a group in Louisville, KY, in the spring of 2024. Tim Stec helps lead the BGBCC and was a founding member. After retiring from a career in law enforcement, Tim and his wife have been able to devote their time to 511 Services, which provides biblical counseling and professional editing services. This episode of 15:14 is a rebroadcast of the interview we did with Pastor Dave Kirk regarding the Eastern Iowa Biblical Counseling Coalition. As part of the Build 133 series, we wanted you to hear about the great work they are doing again! Dave Kirk is the Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Grace Community Church in North Liberty, Iowa, where he has served since 2009. Before that, he was a pastor in St. Louis, Missouri for 13 years. Dave is the co-founder and has been Director of the Eastern Iowa Biblical Counseling Coalition (EIBCC) since its inception in 2013. Dave has been in full-time ministry for 28 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees from Liberty University and is a certified biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). Continue Reading →
