Dr. Ed Welch is a member of the BCC Council. He is a counselor and faculty member at the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF). He earned a PhD in counseling (neuropsychology) from the University of Utah and has a Master of Divinity degree from Biblical Theological Seminary. Ed has been counseling for over thirty years and has written many books and articles on biblical counseling, including When People Are Big and God Is Small; Addictions: A Banquet in the Grave; Blame It on the Brain?; Depression; Running Scared; Shame Interrupted; Side by Side: Walking with Others in Wisdom and Love; A Small Book about a Big Problem: Meditations on Anger, Patience, and Peace, and Created to Draw Near: Our Life as God’s Royal Priests. He and his wife, Sheri, have two married daughters and eight grandchildren. In his spare time, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and extended family and playing his guitar. Lilly serves as the Associate Professor of Biblical Counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is a member of the BCC Council and has contributed to Trained in the Fear of God as well as other books and journals. Lilly is a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. Joe Keller is a member of the BCC Council. He has served in Christian ministry and leadership development for over 20 years. Joe currently serves as the Executive Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, California, and teaches in the Biblical Counseling Department at The Master’s University. He received his undergraduate degree at The Master’s University, Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary. He is also the co-host of “The Most Interesting Person in the World Podcast,” where they talk to complete strangers about life and the pursuit of happiness. Joe and his wife Heidi have four children and four cats and enjoy the journey of trying to herd them all.
