The Big Picture: 4 Requirements for a Biblical Counseling View of Trauma
As I listened to and read the transcript of Part 2, here are my major reflections:
I appreciate, affirm, and resonate with Dale and Francine’s discussion of a biblical theology of suffering. I would encourage them to further develop their biblical theology of the body—the embodied-soul. I would encourage them to accurately characterize our Christian brothers and sisters who practice Clinically-Informed Biblical Counseling (CIBC). I would encourage them to further develop their biblical theology of God’s providential shepherding of human history through His sovereign common grace.
