There are topics that aren’t enjoyable to write about. Topics that draw attention to the unrelenting brokenness, injustice, and suffering still pervasive in the world. They are topics that suck the air from our lungs and double us over with nausea. Such topics force us to face the dusty and disintegrating nature of living this side of heaven. They are painful topics that we need to talk about.
