Why I Wrote Singleness: Living Faithfully

In May of 2020, as some churches in my area were beginning to re-gather for in-person worship after Covid shutdowns, I wrote a post on Facebook asking church leaders to be mindful of those who’d be attending church alone. How would social distancing measures—and the way we as leaders communicated about them and carried them out—impact single sisters and brothers like me? I did not expect that post to receive the attention it did—it was shared over and over, generating heartfelt comments and needed discussion.
