On my Twitter/X feed and in my Facebook Biblical Counseling and Equipping group, we’ve had a lot of new followers/members. So, on Twitter/X and Facebook, I decided to share a very brief introduction and update. I thought perhaps I’d do the same for my RPM Ministry readers. Here goes.
A Thread Introducing Myself
First, in ministry, I seek to be a Gospel-Centered, Theologically-Saturated, Relationship-Focused, Church History-Informed, Research-Aware Soul Physician of Embodied-Souls. Second, after 40 years as a pastor, professor, biblical counselor, speaker, writer, and consultant, three years ago I retired early (from making money) to focus my energies on my wife of 43 years, Shirley, in her ongoing stroke recovery. Shirley is doing great! She takes care of me now more than I take care of her!
