One of the things I love about counseling is that I get to hear people’s stories. And when I hear these stories, I am always reminded of how hard life is. Everyone has something difficult going on. Someone may have what appears to be an easy life, but they are actually facing enormous obstacles and challenges. And when we are in a counseling relationship, we can hear the details of those struggles.
