As someone who works with many abuse victims, I have wrestled with how God calls us to love our enemies. Hearing about great evil and sitting with many wounded people, I know loving an enemy is radical. It does not mean glazing over their sin or having warm thoughts about them. I understand it to mean seeking the good of the gospel on their behalf. So, how do we do that with how we talk about them?
