A privilege I enjoy in my disciple-making relationships is being able to help my counselees trust God as Abba Father, especially when they lacked having a positive role model for a father when young. From the Garden of Gethsemane account in Mark 14:32-42, I highlight a few big ideas to teach my counselee based upon how Jesus demonstrated His relationship with God, the Abba Father.
