A common counseling theme these days is the issue of God’s people struggling with patience. Individuals want to know when a safe COVID-19 vaccine will be available. Or when the job market will stabilize. When we can stop wearing masks. When the urban violence will stop. When social justice will be achieved. Along with any of the garden variety trials that include waiting for better days to come.
